2023 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 4-Door Coupé: Enhanced Design and Standard Features

Mercedes-AMG has unveiled the upgraded six-cylinder models of the 2023 AMG GT 4-Door Coupé, featuring a new front apron design, V8 Styling Package, and an expanded range of standard equipment. The updated model aims to deliver a more immersive driving experience with its refined aesthetics, performance, and cutting-edge technology.

New Front Apron and V8 Styling Package

The new front apron of the 2023 AMG GT 4-Door Coupé adopts the design previously exclusive to the eight-cylinder models. The jet-wing profile is emphasized by two outer decorative air intakes and a large central air intake beneath the radiator grille. The radiator openings also direct airflow to vital elements, such as coolers and brakes. The V8 Styling Package further individualizes the six-cylinder models with a new front apron, longitudinal member panels, and a rear apron with a diffuser. The redesigned front end echoes elements from the AMG GT Black Series, highlighting the model's racing heritage.

Standard Equipment Additions

Standard equipment now includes an electric sliding sunroof and wireless smartphone charging between the rear seats. Additionally, the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system has been updated with a new look, redesigned AMG-specific displays, and customizable functions. A new sound experience, Dolby Atmos, is introduced in conjunction with the optional Burmester® surround sound system or the Burmester® high-end 3D surround sound system.

Unchanged Performance

The 2023 AMG GT 4-Door Coupé retains its 3.0-liter in-line six-cylinder engine with twin turbocharging and integrated starter alternator, delivering 270 kW (367 hp) or 320 kW (435 hp). The combined fuel consumption for both the GT 43 4MATIC+ and GT 53 4MATIC+ models is 10.0-9.5 l/100 km (23.5-24.8 mpg), while the combined CO2 emissions range from 227-214 g/km.

Additional Features and Color Options

The 2023 AMG GT 4-Door Coupé offers an extended range of optional equipment packages. The Chrome Package features a high-gloss chrome front splitter, while the Carbon Fibre Package includes a carbon fiber front splitter. The Aerodynamic Package, when combined with the V8 Styling Package, offers a new shape for the front splitter and flics. The new opalite white metallic color is added to the existing palette, and the wheel portfolio and upholstery range remain unchanged.
