The IAA, or the Frankfurt International Motor Show, first opened its door in 1897, and for over 120 years it continues to be the centerpiece for auto manufacturers to show off their new technology and unveil new models. Of course all eyes will be on electric and hybrid vehicles this year, but conventional models continue to amaze and have their steady fan base. 89th Genega International Motor Show will be open for the public from March 7th, and will host over 900 cars until the 17th. It's expected that over 700,000 visitors will attend this years auto show. With numerous European and international auto premieres, this year's show already promises to deliver. Unsurprisingly, electrification will be the hot topic, with Polestar revealing its second model, and Audi introducing not one, not two, not even three, but four new plug-in hybrid vehicles. We already made a list of the premieres so far, but expect it to grow as the show kicks off.

The Detroit Auto Show opened its doors for the public on 14th of January. Also called the North American International Auto Show for its magnitude, the show will be last one that's held in wintertime. Starting from 2020 the auto show will be moved to the summer months. As the most important show of the U.S., NAIAS hosts everything from electric and autonomous driving vehicles, to muscle cars and concepts. The Big Apple opens its door for this years international auto show for U.S. debuts of models as well as premiers. Among the premiers are the all-new Toyota RAV 4 and Nissan Altima, both of which are in high demand in the States. This year's New York International Auto Show will hold its doors open for the public from April 14th to 23rd. Both domestic and international auto manufacturers will showcase north of 1,000 cars, trucks, and concept vehicles. Among debuting models for North American market are Range Rover Velar, Mercedes E-Class Cabrio, and 2018 Subaru Crosstreck. On March 9th Geneva International Motor Show will open its doors for 87th time, setting the beginning of one of Europe's key auto shows. We already have some of the premieres that will be showcased in Geneva. However, most special models are left until the opening to be presented to the public. Some of those models are the Range Rover Velar, which will squeeze itself between the Sport and Evoque, and a special surprise supercar from McLaren. Following this year's impressive overtaking of Consumer Electronics Show by autonomous car technology, we expect 2017 North American Auto Show to have its main focus on smart car technology, including car-to-car communication and autonomous driving. Apart from tech innovations, Detroit is where most of the manufacturers present specific models designed for the U.S. market. It's that time of the year at the most car-loving city of the United States. Over 800,000 square feet of space is dedicated for the show at LA Convention Center, which also has a separate section for aftermarket tuners to exhibit their custom creations. Some manufactures will offer free driving test of their new models. We expect to see special emphasis on electric, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid models and concepts at this year's show. Since 2016 is an odd number, it means this year, instead of the even-number biennial Frankfurt Motor Show, Europe's big auto show will be held in Paris. Launched in 1898, Mondial De L'Automobile Paris has its unique place among auto exhibitions. This year a total of 230 brands from 19 countries will showcase their models and present 140 new releases. 86th Geneva International Motor Show will open its doors to the public on March 3rd and will remain open until the 13th. It all started 111 years ago, when the first Swiss Motor Show was held in Geneva. After several year of failure, and at some point exhibiting in Zurich in 1907, with the formation of the Permanent Committee of the Geneva Motor Show, it got back on tracks and earned its unique place in international auto shows. Last year 830 brands had the opportunity to present their models and concepts, which attracted around 684,000 visitor. This page will update as the show further develops.

The NADA/J.D. Power Automotive forum hosted by the Auto Show helps kick things off on Tuesday, March 31 featuring legendary investor Warren Buffet as the event’s keynote. Two days of back-to-back press conferences (April 1 & 2) plus the World Car Awards, Nielsen’s TV Advertising Awards, and the Gala Preview charity event close out press days, paving the way for North America’s largestattended auto show, which runs April 3-12.

The Geneva International Motor Show will take place for the 85th time from March 5-15, 2015 at Palexpo. The organisers have now opened the inscriptions process. In parallel, the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (Zurich Academy for the Arts) has been mandated for the creation of the official poster/graphic for the 2015 edition of the Show. In 2014 this event welcomed 250 exhibitors, 11,214 media representatives from all over the world, plus some 670,000 visitors out of which 30’000 where questioned for a survey. More than 150 world and European premiers were presented.

The origins of the IAA can be traced back to more than 115 years. In 1897, 8 motor vehicles were exhibited to the public at the Bristol Hotel in Berlin. From these humble beginnings, a regular exhibition was established. Due to its high visitor and exhibitor turnout, the IAA was developed into a yearly alternating exhibition of passenger cars and commercial vehicles in 1991.
