Huracan versus R8

Having a supercar brand like Lamborghini as one of its subsidiaries doesn't stop Audi from producing one of its own. Having immediate corporate ties with one another comes in handy, as Audi's top R8 and Lambo's Huracan share the same engine: a 5.2-liter V10. R8 V10 plus' produced 610 horsepower precisely match that of the Huracan's, but the non-plus R8 V10 is 70 hp short. On the paper the R8 has one lb-ft of torque more than the Lamborghini.

Both coupes have mid-mounted engines and all wheel drive systems. Huracan is slightly shorter and longer than the R8, but has a shorter wheelbase.

Huracan's msrp starts from $237,250, which compared to the starting price of R8 V10 plus is about $49,000 more.
