BMW X6 versus M-Benz GLE Coupe

With the introduction of X6, BMW created a whole new segment in automotive industry: four-door SUV coupe. And only after its second generation came out, Mercedes-Benz revealed their answer to Bavaria's challenge, GLE Coupe.

Not surprisingly, both SUV coupes share similar design cues, particularly in the rear end. GLE Coupe is slightly higher, with a shorter wheelbase than the X6.

Both SUV coupes are priced in the same range, with GLE Coupe starting from slightly higher $65,100 compared to X6's $60,600 MSRP.

When it comes to power, BMX X6 has more options with two offered engines, compared to only for GLE Coupe. That's without counting the factory tuned X6 M and GLE 63 AMG Coupe models. GLE is offered with 4MATIC all-wheel drive drivetrain, while the X6 can be purchased with base, rear-wheel drive option.
