It is a hand-crafted classic sports car that uniquely combines power and driving dynamics in a purist, precision-manufactured vehicle.

The vehicle's low weight and the tremendous power of its 6-cylinder in-line engine result in absolutely unique driving dynamics. The 3,246 cm³ front-mounted mid-engine delivers 252 kW / 343 hp. With maximum torque of 365 Nm and a power-to-weight ratio of 3.44 kg/hp, it sprints from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. And with a top speed of 255 km/h, driving pleasure, enhanced to the point of perfection by a 6-speed sequential gearbox, is guaranteed.

The principle of purism is also reflected in the elegant arrangement of stylish, classical elements in the cockpit. Fine leather trims are entirely made by hand to the customer’s precise specifications and, in addition to selecting the colour of the leather and the stitching, he can even select the colour of the dashboard instrument lights.

Perfect individuality

The Roadster MF3 is the only Wiesmann model to be built with a space frame chassis that is handwelded by the Wiesmann metalworking team. 300 individual parts go into the making of this space frame chassis which, after painting and hot-dip galvanizing, provides the rustproof skeleton for the MF3’s body. This construction method was developed for the very first Wiesmann sports car in 1988 and has been continually optimised ever since. The space frame has excellent torsional rigidity, is aluminium-panelled and equipped with sturdy side impact protection, which is a unique detail in the automotive landscape. As for the body of the roadster, it is produced from high-quality, fibre-glass reinforced composite material.

BMW's powerful engines are famous for their agility and sporty pretensions, and deliver impressive performance in the Wiesmann Roadster MF3. The combination of the vehicle's low weight and the tremendous power of the 6-cylinder in-line engine results in absolutely unique driving dynamics. Compliance with the Euro 5 standard perfectly equips this classic Wiesmann for the future. The standard version of the Roadster MF3 has a 5-speed manual transmission. It can also be fitted with a 6-speed manual transmission or an SMG II 6-speed sequential manual transmission at an extra charge.
