LUMMA Design customisation programme continues with the Range Rover Velar

LUMMA Design is proud to announce its comprehensive customisation programme for the new Range Rover Velar.

In addition to its signature CLR GT wide body styling kit, LUMMA Design offers the choice of 22 and 23-inch alloy wheels, lightweight carbon-fibre components, and a wide range of interior trim options for the mid-size SUV. All these parts are available now. A sport exhaust system with sound flap control, as well as power increases for the petrol and diesel engines are in the development stage.

One of the most attractive SUVs on sale today, the new Range Rover Velar looks set to make many conquest sales for the iconic British marque. Bridging the gap between the Evoque and the Range Rover Sport, the Velar impresses with its sleek lines and dynamic driving experience.

LUMMA Design sees the Velar as a prime candidate for a wealth of personalisation, and their first step gives it an even more expressive self-confident look with this wide body CLR GT package, made from high quality PU-RIM plastics.

The wide wheel arches are most distinctive and eye catching part of the conversion and add 50mm to each side of the Velar’s overall width. The wide body look is supplemented by a prominent new front bumper, which features an integrated spoiler and Cup air splitter that give the Velar a more aggressive face and help to reduce aerodynamic lift at speed.

Contoured side skirts with horizontal blades that follow the line of the air splitter visually flesh out the area between the wide arches, and give the car a more grounded look. Meanwhile the new front grille and large bonnet air intake scoops seen on the design concept drawings last year add to the more sporting appearance.

The conversion is completed by the LUMMA Design rear apron, which incorporates an integrated diffuser flanked by quad exhaust outlet covers. Above the waistline the three-piece tailgate and roofline rear spoiler help to reduce drag by smoothening out the departing airflow.

To fill out the big wheel arches, LUMMA Design offers wheel and tyre packages in 22 and 23-inch sizes. The LUMMA CLR LN 1 and LUMMA CLR Racing alloy wheel designs, sized 12.0J x 22-inch are paired with 305/35ZR22 Michelin tyres. If these are not sufficiently large you can order 11.0J x 23-inch LUMMA CLR 23 GT alloy wheels wrapped in 305/30ZR23 Continental rubber. As an option LUMMA Design can provide appropriate wheel spacers to achieve the right offsets for these wheel/tyre combinations.

Real carbon-fibre looks technical and is in trend. LUMMA Design offers a raft of parts made of, respectively with a surface look of real carbon-fibre for the Velar. The front and door design panels, sport front grille, Cup spoiler lip, front wings, bonnet panels, wing mirror caps, rear spoiler lip, rear diffuser, are all available as carbon version.

In addition to a sport steering wheel, the interior customisation program includes an aluminium pedal set as well as a floor and boot carpet mats embroidered with the LUMMA Design logo.
