HAMANN BMW X6 M
For the fans of the brawny X6 M model, car refiner Hamann now offers a small but nice individualisation kit – for example for a befitting individualisation with 23-inch wheels and wide tyres. Customised wheel arch mouldings accurately made of robust GRP replace the rather reserved standard mouldings on the body and widen the wheel houses by 40 mm each. The desired effect: additional room for the high-grade and sporty 23-inch light-alloy wheels “Anniversary Evo” in the size 11.0Jx23, which are equipped with 315/25 R23 high-performance tyres. A look that will not be copied that easily.
The combination of the high-grade wheels with sport springs, which are perfectly aligned to the crossover’s axle load and high performance level, noticeably upgrade driving dynamics and look. To make its look and feel even more athletic, the Hamann experts dynamically lower the X6’s centre of gravity by 45 mm on the front axle and by 30 mm on the rear axle. Those driving the X6 on winding roads can now enjoy real sportscar feeling: thanks to the individual adjustment of the sport springs to the excellent xDrive all-wheel drive system reducing the car’s tendency to roll.
“The Ultimate Driving Machine” can be particularly enjoyed when driving the athlete of the X6 series, the M model. For this top engine type the refiner from Laupheim has come up with something special: the power advancement to 640 hp (471 kW) at 6 000 rpm (standard: 575 hp/423 hp) makes the X6 move up to a higher league. Compared to the standard model, the peak torque grows by 90 to impressive 840 Nm at 2 200-5 000 rpm and leaves no questions unanswered.
But the vigorous performance curve of the impressive SUV coupé shall not stand alone – that was clear for Hamann. Entirely in the company style the X6’s brawny and impressive appearance gets the distinctive Hamann touch with a bonnet completely made of carbon fibre. The athletically designed beads that exude unambiguous dominance ensnare the raised “power dome”, which leaves no doubts the car has that certain something and the raw power of almost 600 hp.
However, Hamann would not be Hamann if the individualisation kit contained no befitting sports exhaust system. The specialists from Laupheim optionally equip the pipes with tail pieces made of real carbon, stainless steel or with ceramic coating, perfectly fitting the look of the original rear apron to add new facets. Hidden behind is a high-grade stainless-steel muffler for an individual sound experience.
With the finely stitched leather parts, the X6’s interior has a luxury flair – thanks to Hamann the extrovert look becomes unique and even more exclusive. Sport pedals and high-quality footrests in Hamann’s catchy design individualise the car’s interior. They are available in black, silver anodised or aluminium with Hamann logo. A set of exclusive floor mats and a boot mat are not forgotten. Additionally, the company virtually fulfils every special interior design request – for example with tailor-made leather upholstery or applications.
