For 2016, the dynamically designed Edge offers available features like SYNC® 3 driver-connectivity system, Adaptive Steering, and driver-assist technologies such as enhanced active park assist with perpendicular park, adaptive cruise control with collision warning and brake support, and a front 180-degree camera with washer.
Edge comes standard with a twin-scroll turbocharged, direct-injected 2.0-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost® engine. A 3.5-liter Ti-VCT V6 is available on SEL and Titanium models, and a twin-turbo 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 – the most advanced EcoBoost ever – is standard on Sport models.

The new Ford steering system adapts to driving conditions to make steering easier at low speeds and more robust at high speeds. In low-speed circumstances such as in parking lots, Adaptive Steering lets drivers turn the front wheels with less steering wheel input. At highway speeds, the system provides a confident driving experience. Adaptive Steering comes standard on Sport models and is available on Titanium models.
Acoustic-laminate windshield glass is standard for every model. Edge Sport is equipped with active noise control technology to refine the sound of the 2.7-liter EcoBoost. Sport and Titanium models incorporate acoustic glass on driver and passenger doors.
