The Unveiling of the 2019 Chevrolet Cruze and Cruze Hatchback

In an effort to sustain its steady course in the compact car sector, Chevrolet recently debuted the 2019 Cruze and Cruze Hatchback. With their enhanced designs, these vehicles exude a greater sense of luxury, which bolsters their appeal to consumers and contributes to their enduring value.

A Crucial Component of Chevrolet's Lineup

The Cruze models play a significant role in Chevrolet's overall car strategy, effectively drawing in new customers to the brand. In 2017, more than half of the Cruze buyers were first-time Chevrolet customers. This can be attributed to the versatility offered by the Cruze line, catering to a variety of consumer needs and preferences, from body style to fuel options and design trims.

The recent introduction of the Cruze Hatch and Diesel models has given a notable boost to the car's retail market share in 2017 by a margin of 0.6 percent. This trend has contributed to Chevrolet's overall retail market share growth for the third year in a row.

An Elevated Design

The 2019 Cruze models showcase a revamp in their front fascia and grilles, reinforcing the vehicles' premium appeal. In the Premier trim, Chevrolet's characteristic dual-element tail lamps now boast LED accent lighting, amplifying the aesthetic allure of the Cruze.

According to John Cafaro, the executive director of Global Chevrolet Design, the fresh design upgrades convey a sophisticated aura while staying true to Chevrolet's unique design language.

What's New for 2019?

As a testament to Chevrolet's success and commitment, the debut of the first-ever Cruze Hatch LS extends the brand's wide-ranging car portfolio, catering to various budgets and requirements.

The latest additions to the 2019 Cruze lineup include:

  • The new Chevrolet Infotainment 3 on a standard 7-inch diagonal color touchscreen radio

The 2019 Cruze models, available as a sedan or a hatchback, will come equipped with a 1.4L turbo engine with an optional 1.6L turbo-diesel variant. Notable technological features include 4G LTE connectivity, a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot (with a limited service trial), and an impressive array of available active safety features such as:
