Exteriors

For 2014, the Jeep Grand Cherokee receives an updated style: all trim levels have been given a more premium look and are readily recognisable at a glance. On all models, the signature seven-slot grille is shorter in height, the headlights are slimmer and the lower front fascia has been slightly elevated while the fog lights have been raised and are more pronounced. All together, these changes give the front end of the Grand Cherokee a more elegant, sportier appearance while still preserving Jeep's signature features.

The main design enhancement for the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee are the new high-intensity discharge bi-xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights (DRL), offered as standard on all trim levels. The Summit and SRT models feature adaptive HID bi-xenon headlamps with LED lighting.

The rear of the new Grand Cherokee has also received changes and boasts new, larger tail lamps with LED lighting, a larger and more aerodynamic rear spoiler, new bumpers and a re-sculpted tailgate that offers greater visibility. Lower rear fascias are now model-specific, and dual exhaust tips are now standard on Limited, Overland and Summit models.

A new design of the wheels and new interior/exterior color combinations complete the main exterior styling news found on the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and further enhance its image of quality.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo exteriors are identified by body-color side mirrors and door handles. The grille receives a chrome headlight treatment while the rear fascia features the new signature tail lamp design. Laredo also rides on standard five-spoke 18-inch aluminum wheels painted Satin Chrome.

Grand Cherokee Limited models add to the Laredo look bright door handles and a chrome trimmed dual exhaust outlet. An all-new chrome trim outlines also the lower front fascia opening and the rear bumper.

Grand Cherokee Overland features several body-color design cues including the lower fascia trim on the front and rear of the vehicle. The body-color trim carries over to the wheel arches and wheels surround. The lower rocker panels also receive a body color treatment. Overland models boast polished 20-inch five-spoke aluminum wheels with Mineral Gray painted pockets.

The new Grand Cherokee Summit model tops the range and receives many unique styling cues. The bi-xenon HID signature headlamps are adaptive, and swivel in conjunction with the steering wheel. This improves visibility around bends and turns and enhances safety on board Grand Cherokee. Between the lamps is a chrome finish on the upper grille's mesh pattern. The entire lower fascia is unique and features a pronounced chrome trim similar in design to the one on the Grand Cherokee SRT model. The front bumper is larger and features a slimmer opening for the projector fog lamps compared with other models. Body-color wheel arch moldings are also larger in comparison to other models and a Dark Gray lower rocker trim panel with a chrome strip runs along the top edge of the rocker. This chrome accent helps to visually lengthen the side view of the new Grand Cherokee. The rear fascia is dominated by dual rectangular exhaust outlets and Dark Gray lower body cladding. These features are unique to Summit models. Satin Clear Coat 20-inch aluminum wheels are a unique-to-Summit twin five-spoke design.

In line with its sporty character, the new Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT model features a black, seven-slot front grille. Also the adaptive, bi-xenon headlamps feature a unique black background to distinguish SRT from other 2014 Grand Cherokee models. This black treatment contributes to further highlight the unique SRT aggressive appearance.

The SRT's front treatment is mirrored in the back for a cohesive styling appearance: here the tail lamps with signature LED lighting offer a black surround to further emphasize the SRT's performance heritage. Also new for 2014 is a more aerodynamically efficient rear spoiler integrated into the all-new, one-touch liftgate adorned with new SRT badge. Rather than relying on a manual lever, the liftgate is operated electronically with the push of a button.

Exclusive to SRT are standard 20-inch Black Vapor Chrome aluminum wheels with five-spoke design.

Aggressive 20-inch five-spoke bright polished Goliath aluminum wheels are available as optional only on the SRT trim level.

Grand Cherokee open-air options

The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee features the CommandView dual-pane power sunroof that extends from the windshield to the rear of the vehicle, allowing for perfect views both on- and off-road. CommandView is comprised of two glass panels with the front panel opening rearward providing a glass surface that is twice more extensive than the one offered by any traditional roof. The rear panel, which is fixed, allows light and open viewing for second-row passengers. The system comes standard with a power sun shade for those who may not want direct sunlight. CommandView is standard on Overland, Summit and SRT models and is available on Limited models.

All trim levels come with paddle shifters mounted on the back of the steering wheel as standard.

Designers took inspiration from legendary locations and terrains from around the world when creating the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee's interior. Each Grand Cherokee model has its own unique style of luxury and ambiance based on specific materials and color patterns.

2014 Grand Cherokee interiors were inspired by the cultures and environments of Morocco, New Zealand, Nepal, Grand Canyon and by the Italian Mount Vesuvio.

Available on the entire model lineup, the Morocco interiors feature Black monotone seats, instrument panel, consoles and door panels. A Black wood trim finish adorns the dash and doors of the Laredo and Limited models.

The New Zealand interior is a two-tone Black and Light Frost. Nador Brown Walnut interior wood trim finish adorns the instrument panel and door panels and eases the contrast between the two-tone upper and lower interior. The aluminium door handle and dash vent bezels, like the trim on the centre console, feature a slight gold hue. Premium cloth seating is standard on Laredo, while heated, leather seating is standard on Limited.

Standard equipment of the Overland model includes a contrasting stitched-leather instrument panel and seats. Open-pore wood is one of the prominent design cues found on the dash and doors of Grand Cherokee Overland models, and adds a distinct touch of modern luxury. Wood trim is also found on the top portion of the leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Beside the Morocco interior, the Overland model offers Vesuvio and Nepal interiors featuring two all-new color schemes: Jeep Brown and Indigo Blue - inspired by the blue-hued dark gray walls of Mount Vesuvius - for the former; Jeep Brown and Light Frost for the latter - paying tribute to the geographic diversity found in the Asian country of Nepal. Open-pore brown Zebrano or Black wood is found on the instrument panel and door panels of both interior choices.

The now more exclusive Grand Cherokee Summit is the new top-of-the-range model and offers the highest level of quality. Premium Natura-Plus leather seating are featured in Summit and are available in Black or Jeep Brown with copper accents on door handle and dash vent bezels. Copper leather stitching adorns the leather-covered instrument panel, seats, doors and center armrest and are unique features of the Grand Canyon interior, exclusive to the Summit model. A further exclusive feature found on the Summit is a suede-like material covering the A-pillars and headliner.

The 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT model offers an exclusive Laguna leather interior available in two distinctive colors: Torque (black) and all-new Sepia combination.

SRT's refined cabin features race-inspired technology and exclusive appointments including true carbon fiber trim accents adorning instrument panel, driver's and front passenger's doors and the redesigned, SRT-exclusive heated three-spoke steering wheel with a flat bottom that features a bevy of comfort, convenience and connectivity controls and more pronounced, more ergonomically efficient paddle shifters. An all-new Launch Control button is situated behind the new T-handle shifter on the center console: standard on the SRT models, this functionality delivers enhanced and consistent acceleration performance.

The most significant interior enhancement on the 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT is the new Uconnect with 8.4-inch touchscreen display featuring SRT-exclusive Performance Pages, a distinctive functionality specific to racing technology. Performance Pages shows the drivers instant feedback on steering input measurements, horsepower, torque, 0-100 km/h time, 100-0 km/h braking distance and much more.

4x4 systems

The new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee features a choice of 4x4 systems: Quadra-Trac II and Quadra-Drive II with rear Electronic Limited-slip Differential (ELSD) and the exclusive-to-SRT, Quadra-Trac active on-demand four-wheel-drive system, also featuring rear Electronic Limited Slip Differential (ELSD).

The standard-on-Overland and Summit models Quadra-Lift air suspension system allows the ride height of the Grand Cherokee to change up to a maximum ground clearance of 28 cm.

Thanks to the availability of these systems, the 2014 Grand Cherokee delivers legendary Jeep capabilities and the safety of the four-wheel drive when travelling on poor grip on-road surfaces.

Quadra-Trac II full-time four-wheel drive system features a two-speed transfer case that implements BTCS (Brake Traction Control System) on the front and rear axle for best-in-class off-road performance. Its two-speed transfer case uses the inputs coming from a variety of sensors in order to determine tire slip at the earliest possible moment and takes the corrective action. The system also uses Throttle Anticipate to sense quick movement in the throttle from a stop and maximizes traction before slippage occurs. When wheel slippage is detected, as much as 100 percent of the available torque is instantly routed to the axle with the most traction. The system operates in two ranges: in the 4WD High, torque is automatically directed to the front and rear axle in a variable rate; when switching to the 4WD Low, using the console-mounted switch, the system splits the torque with a 50/50 ratio between the front and rear axles. With a 2.72 gear reduction ratio, the 4WD Low provides the unsurpassed tractive performances that are necessary in extreme off-road conditions.

The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland and Summit models are fitted with Quadra-Drive II four-wheel drive system. With a rear Electronic Limited-slip Differential (ELSD), Quadra-Drive II delivers industry-leading tractive capability and off-road performances. The core of the system is the central transfer case and an electronically controlled clutch pack for active torque distribution. On dry pavement and in normal tractive conditions, the central transfer case splits 48 percent of the available torque on the front axle and 52 percent on the rear one. In case of slippery surfaces, the system automatically redirects engine torque between the front and rear axles based upon real-time driving conditions, providing the vehicle with responsive tractive performance. The system also uses electronic controls that multiply traction on the four wheels and avoids losses of grip in case of sudden acceleration. The system includes the 4WD High and 4WD Low ranges. The 4WD Low has a 2.72 gear reduction ratio for extreme off-road conditions.

Thanks to the rear Electronic Limited-Slip Differential (ELSD), Quadra-Drive II instantly detects rear tires slip and smoothly distributes torque across the axle. In some cases, the vehicle will anticipate low traction and adjust in order to proactively limit or eliminate slip.

Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT features standard Quadra-Trac active on-demand four-wheel-drive transfer case. This 4x4 system uses input from a variety of sensors in order to determine tire slip and take the corrective action. The system uses Throttle Anticipate to sense quick movement in the throttle from a stop and maximizes traction before slippage occurs. When tire slippage is detected, the system can transfer up to 100 percent of available torque to one rear wheel with better grip. The transfer case also enhances handling by proportioning torque between the front and rear axles to maintain the driver's intended path.

The new Grand Cherokee SRT also features Brake Traction Control System (BTCS) on the front differential and a rear Electronic Limited Slip Differential (ELSD). ELSD contributes to eliminate rear wheel slip and distributes torque to the wheel with grip, improving the vehicle's handling.

Quadra-Lift air suspension

Enhanced on-road dynamics and benchmark off-road capability deliver to the driver optimum ride performances both when driving on the road as well as when mastering off-road trails. To achieve this result, Jeep Grand Cherokee uses an array of sophisticated systems including Quadra-Lift air suspension, Selec-Terrain traction control and new Selec-Speed Control.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland and Summit models features standard Quadra-Lift air suspension that allows the ride height to be adjusted by the driver manually using the console controls. Ground clearance can be adjusted to five levels and reaches a maximum span of 28 cm.

  • Normal Ride Height (NRH): This is the standard ride position. A clearance of 22 cm offers improved fuel efficiency and maximum comfort during on-road driving.
  • Off Road 1: This setting lifts the vehicle an additional 3.3 cm from NRH to reach a ground clearance of 25.4 cm, for clearing off-road obstacles.
  • Off Road 2: This setting ensures legendary Jeep off-road capability by adding an extra 6.6 cm to NRH and reaching the highest ground clearance of 28 cm.
  • Park Mode: This setting lowers the vehicle by 4 cm from NRH for easy per ingress/egress and loading. NRH and Park Mode can be selected by the driver to control ride height.
  • Aero Mode: This setting lowers the vehicle by 1.3 cm from NRH. Aero Mode is controlled by vehicle speed and perfectly adjusts the aerodynamics for optimal performance and fuel economy.

In Eco Mode, the vehicle is lowered to Aero Mode level to further enhance the Jeep Grand Cherokee's aerodynamics and secure optimum fuel efficiency.

Quadra-Lift air suspension adds up to 10.4 cm of lift supported by four-corner air springs for premium ride comfort.

With the front air dam removed and the Quadra-Lift air suspension, the new Jeep Grand Cherokee features a 35.8-degree approach angle, a 29.6-degree departure angle and a 23.5-degree breakover angle.

Selec-Terrain traction control system

The class-leading Selec-Terrain traction management system with five different driving programs has been refined on the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Standard on all Grand Cherokee models except SRT, this sophisticated system has been enhanced through the introduction of the new Selec-Speed Control, in combination with the Off road package. New Selec-Speed Control allows the driver to control the speed of the vehicle, both uphill and downhill, using the steering wheel paddle shifters instead of requiring the use of the accelerator or brake pedals.

In addition, the Sport Mode - found on the Selec-Terrain controller of the 2013 models - is now engaged via the shift lever to provide improved on-road 'fun-to-drive' capability.

Standard on Laredo, Limited, Overland and Summit, Selec-Terrain traction control system allows the driver to choose the most suitable driving mode to safely tackle any surface.

Through the use of algorithms that enable unsurpassed control and capability, Selec-Terrain electronically coordinates and optimizes up to 12 systems on any terrain providing enhanced vehicle control including: drivetrain control module, electronic brake controller, electronic stability control (ESC), transmission controller, powertrain controller, Hill-ascent and Hill-Descent Control and the new Selec-Speed Control.

Thanks to Selec-Terrain, the driver can choose between five different driving programs to achieve the best driving experience on all terrains:

  • Sand: Traction Control and Quadra-Lift operate to prevent tyre slip on sand. Torque is tuned for optimal performance.
  • Mud: Traction Control and Quadra-Lift operate to prevent tyre slip and torque is tuned for optimal performance in mud.
  • Auto: The system automatically adapts to any on- or off-road situation.
  • Snow: Traction is adjusted for ultimate performance over snow-covered roads.
  • Rock: Quadra-Lift suspensions (where fitted) reach the maximum height of 28 cm. In this mode, the transfer case, differentials and accelerator coordinate to provide maximum low-speed control.

Jeep Selec-Track system

Fitted only on the Grand Cherokee SRT model is a retuned Selec-Track system. This system interacts with several different systems (stability control, active damping, transmission shift strategy, transfer case torque proportioning, Electronic Limited Slip Differential performance, throttle control and cylinder de-activation) to automatically tune the dynamics of the vehicle according to customers' habits and driving condition. Drivers can manually choose between the following dynamic modes: Auto, Sport, Tow, Track, and Snow - for specific driving performances. On 2014 SRT models, software improvements to Selec-Track further distinguish the five dynamic modes, enabling drivers to choose a vehicle setting that more ideally meets their requirements and ambient conditions. Drivers will find the torque split change in Track Mode provides a vehicle that is more responsive from mid-corner to exit and one that delivers faster lap times at their favorite track.

On-road refinement

Jeep Grand Cherokee is widely known for its outstanding on-road driving dynamics, thanks in part to its front and rear independent suspension. Variable-rate rear springs deliver improved on-road handling and comfort. Premium on-road manners are enhanced with more than 5,400 welds in the body alone. The independent front and rear suspension features isolated front and rear suspension cradles along with variable-rate rear springs to deliver improved on-road handling and comfort while complementing the vehicle's legendary off-road capability. The rear suspension also allows the spare tire to be stored inside the vehicle as opposed to underneath.

The 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT rides on a short- and long-arm (SLA) independent front suspension with coil springs, Bilstein adaptive damping suspension (ADS), upper- and lower-control arms ("A" arms), and a stabilizer bar. The rear suspension is a multi-link design with coil spring, Bilstein ADS, aluminum lower control arm, independent upper links (tension and camber), plus a separate toe link, and a stabilizer bar.

The SRT-tuned, active Adaptive damping suspension are managed by Selec-Track.

Jeep Grand Cherokee is powered by the efficient 3.0-liter turbo, direct-injection V-6 Common-rail diesel engine fitted with Multijet II Technology and by three petrol engine options: the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6, the legendary 5.7-liter V-8 and the powerful 6.4-liter HEMI® V-8 engine that powers the high-performance SRT model. All petrol engines available on the new 2014 Grand Cherokee meet Euro 6 emission standards.

New eight-speed automatic transmission

Grand Cherokee's new eight-speed automatic transmission is paired with the 3.0-liter V-6 diesel engine as well as with the V-6 and V-8 petrol engine offerings. New eight-speed transmission ensures reduced consumption and emissions, while delivering quicker acceleration and a more precise and smooth shifting.

Fitted for the first time on a Jeep model, the new eight-speed automatic transmission also enhances Grand Cherokee's ride quality to new levels. Several individual shift maps adapt to specific driving conditions to optimize shift quality. Its intelligent software takes into account variables including acceleration, engine torque gradients, kick-down events and travelling speed to determine the appropriate shift map. The result is automatic shifting ideally attuned to the performance requirements of almost any driving demand with an eye to fuel economy.

Fully electronic, the eight-speed automatic features on-the-fly shift map changing, with manual shifting capability and Electronic Range Select using steering-wheel paddle controls.

The transmission efficiency and wide ratio spread provide the best possible fuel economy by operating at a lower engine rpm in both city and highway environments. The addition of more gear ratios also helps reduce the gaps normally associated with upshifting and downshifting. Internally, the transmission has four gear sets and five shift elements (multi-disc clutches and brakes). Only two shift elements are open at any time. With fewer open shift elements, drag losses due to multiple parts rotating relative to one another are reduced, improving fuel efficiency.

Also new for the 2014 Grand Cherokee and distinguishing only the SRT trim level, is the Launch Control system paired to the new eight-speed automatic transmission. Launch Control mimics a professional driver's inputs to optimize Grand Cherokee SRT's performance by bringing engine, transmission, driveline, stability control, and suspension in line for a textbook launch. Controlled by a button behind the new T-handle shifter on the center console, it delivers improved and more consistent straight-line acceleration. The performance experience of the 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT is further accentuated by a change in transfer case proportioning and dynamic controls for the Selec-Track system when the vehicle is in Track Mode. When this mode is selected, 70 percent of the engine's torque is delivered to the rear wheels for a more pronounced rear-wheel-drive experience. Grand Cherokee SRT drivers will notice a vehicle that is more responsive from mid-corner to exit. Additional news for the 2014 SRT model is the new electronic T-handle shifter that provides the flexibility for drivers to choose a transmission shift schedule independent from the Selec-Track system. Drive and Sport shifting can be selected via the T-handle with no effect on the chosen suspension, stability control and driveline torque split settings.

New Eco Mode

The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee features the new Eco Mode that contributes to its improved fuel economy. Eco Mode optimizes the Grand Cherokee transmission's shift schedule as well as throttle sensitivity to maximize fuel economy. Eco Mode is automatically engaged upon vehicle startup. A button on the center stack allows driver's to disengage Eco Mode if sportier performance is desired.

In addition, Eco Mode activates Quadra-Lift air suspension system, if fitted, to further enhance the vehicle's aerodynamics, for optimum fuel efficiency. In V-8 models, optimized fuel economy results from Fuel Saver cylinder deactivation. This technology engages efficient four-cylinder mode when V-8 power is not required.

The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee offers state-of-the-art safety and security features that further highlight that technological innovation is deep-rooted in the DNA of the Jeep flagship.

In addition to its standard safety equipment, including Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with Electronic Rollover Mitigation (ERM), ABS with off-road calibration, Brake Traction Control System (BTCS) and 7 airbags (front seats multistage, sidebags, side-curtain front and rear, driver kneebag), the new 2014 model offers upgraded Forward Collision Warning with Crash Mitigation, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop functionality (available later this year), ParkView rear back up camera with dynamic grid and new Selec-Speed Control with Hill-Ascent Control and Hill-Descent Control, assisting the drivers when climbing and ascending steep grades.

Forward Collision Warning with Crash Mitigation: this device uses radar sensors to check whether the vehicle is approaching the car in front too rapidly and, if necessary, sends a signal to the driver so that he can intervene to avoid a collision. FCW is now updated to brake automatically and hold brake pressure for 1.5 seconds if the driver does not immediately take the corrective action necessary to prevent the collision with the cars in front. In addition, if the driver is not braking enough, Advanced Brake Assist (ABA) cooperates with the system, to increase the braking and avoid or mitigate the impact. This last feature of the system activates only when he driver acts on the brake and cancels intervention of the ABA if the driver removes his foot from the brake.

Forward Collision Warning with Crash Mitigation is included in the Advanced Safety Technology Group that is standard on Overland and Summit models. The FCW system is also part of the standard safety equipment available on Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT.

Adaptive cruise control (ACC) with Stop: The system decreases the vehicle's pre-set cruise-control speed when closing in on another vehicle in the same lane, or when another vehicle pulls into the same lane. ACC will accelerate to the pre-set speed when the vehicle in front speeds up or moves into another lane. The system will also maintain a driver adjustable distance between the vehicle and the one in front of it and is particularly useful when driving in adverse meteorological conditions or in situations of reduced visibility. On the Overland, Summit and SRT models, ACC is included in the standard Advanced Safety Technology Group. By year's end, Adaptive Cruise Control will be enhanced with the Stop functionality that brings the vehicle to a stop without the intervention of the driver.

ParkView rear backup camera dynamic grid: Provides a wide-angle view of the area immediately behind the vehicle, assisting the driver before reversing at low speeds. Contains dynamic grid lines that follow the steering movements and move accordingly in order to aid the driver when maneuvering into parking spaces or narrow areas. The image is displayed on the UConnect navigation screen when the transmission is shifted into Reverse. This feature is standard on Limited, Overland, Summit and SRT models.

New Selec-Speed Control: the device operates with the Hill-Ascent Control and the Hill-Descent Control functions to allow the driver to control the speed of the vehicle, both uphill and downhill, using the steering wheel paddle shifters instead of requiring the use of the accelerator or brake pedals.

Selec-Speed Control is offered with the Off Road Group available on Laredo, Limited and Overland models.

The platform delivers faster response times and sharper navigation and also offers drivers more extensive voice recognition capabilities - ensuring features can be accessed by voice control without compromising safety. A 3D-terrain model, 3D-cities and 3D-landmarks make navigation more realistic than ever. Entering destinations is a "one-shot" action, with the city, street and building number all in one natural sequence. The system also integrates travel and traffic information via TMC (traffic message channel). Additionally, the new UConnect 8.4 features as a standard a DAB tuner, which allows to get CD-quality radio and complementary information about the program broadcasted, including pictures. New UConnect with 8.4" touchscreen and satellite navigation is standard on Grand Cherokee Overland, Summit and SRT models.

All new Grand Cherokee trim levels also include an instrument panel with a new 7-inch user-configurable multiview display, with TFT liquid crystal technology. The easy-to-use instrument cluster displays the basic information a driver needs at his or her fingertips but also allows the driver to add information they desire. The cluster can be configured one hundred different ways for the ultimate, driver-customized experience. Navigation, speed, audio and fuel economy info, as well as useful information provided by on-board Jeep system such as Selec-Terrain modes can all be displayed in the 7-inch screen, keeping the driver's eyes - and attention - closer to the road.

Front-seat occupants aren't the only ones who benefit from high-tech displays. Second-row passengers can treat themselves to video entertainment via an available seatback Blu-ray video system (available after market launch). This new system will play standard DVDs as well as Blu-ray discs, and has inputs for high-definition media interface (HDMI) cables or RCAs for each screen integrated into the seat backs. Wireless headphones are included as is a wireless remote.

Connectivity and touchscreens involve rapidly changing technology and ever-increasing consumer expectations - both of which have a significant impact on the overall quality assessment of new vehicles. The Uconnect team constantly evaluates consumer feedback, placing a high priority on designing systems that are intuitive for both tech-savvy customers as well as tech-averse drivers who prefer hard knobs to adjust the climate or radio station.

Built in Detroit

The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee is built at the 3-million-square-foot Jefferson North Assembly Plant (JNAP) in Detroit, which has been the site of Grand Cherokee production since its introduction in 1992.

Beginning in October 2009, in preparation for production of the present generation of Jeep Grand Cherokee, JNAP went through a complete transformation as part of World Class Manufacturing (WCM), an extensive and thorough process aiming at restoring the facility to its original and maximum functionality. JNAP employees began planning and executing hundreds of projects aimed at improving the work environment, maximizing quality, minimizing waste and preparing for the new product. They made significant changes in workplace organization and logistics systems, found ways to improve quality, and addressed ergonomic issues.

The first unit of the current generation of Jeep Grand Cherokee rolled off the line at JNAP in May 2010.

The new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee is available in the Laredo, Limited, Overland and SRT trim levels and in the more exclusive Summit top of the range model.

The commercial launch in the European market will start in the month of July.
